USDA recalls 324,770 pounds of Meat and Poultry

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced a massive recall on various meat products today.

Buona Vita, Inc., a Bridgeton, New Jersey establishment, is recalling approximately 324,770 pounds of various frozen, ready-to-eat meat and poultry products due to possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The USDA web site listed the recall as ‘CLASS I RECALL’ and ‘HEALTH RISK: HIGH’.
