2 Supercells – 5 Tornadoes – April 27, 2011

We have a Research Sneak Peak from UAHuntsville and Radar Research Group in Huntsville, Alabama:

An image from an upcoming journal article showing a montage of the paths of two supercells which produced 5 tornadoes (4 violent) during the April 27th Outbreak.

Many meteorologists initially think that the same supercell produced all 5 of these tornadoes, but the 2nd supercell actually killed off the 1st storm in this image:
