I’ll admit that I never heard much from these two men in this light. I’m happy to see that they honored and respected the traditional values that made our nation great.

It would be nice if in today’s world, the majority of people in the U.S. felt and acted the same.

A dangerous cultural theme shared by some of the protestors to the new Arizona immigration law, is called “reconquesta” or reconquest.

Members of these groups believe that the southwest lands of the U.S. should be be colonized by Mexicans, renamed Aztlan and annexed by Mexico.
The “reconquest” of the Southwest is an explicit goal of MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil de Chicanos de Aztlan), a militant group supported by La Raza, whose name means The Race.

La Raza has filed lawsuits, and won court cases in Kansas to protest any enforcement of the Mexican-American border.

After days of deliberations on whether to run a controversial Super Bowl ad from gay dating site ManCrunch.com, CBS has not yet reached a decision.

The 30-second spot shows two men excitedly watching the game, before their hands brush as they both reach into a bowl of chips. Suddenly, the two begin making out, much to the shock of a guy sitting close by.

According to a rep for the dating site, which operates under the slogan “Where Many Many Many Men Come Out to Play,” the ad was submitted on Monday, January 18th. When the site followed up on the status of the ad on Friday, January 22nd, they were told by CBS that “the spot hadn’t been officially approved yet” by network standards, and that “all the Super Bowl spots were sold out.”

“ManCrunch requested the spot get reviewed anyway just in case another advertiser drops out and a spot becomes available, as often happens, and CBS agreed,” added the site’s rep.

Dating and social network site BeautifulPeople.com has axed some 5,000 members following complaints that they had gained weight.

The members were singled out after posting pictures of themselves that reportedly showed they had put on pounds over the holiday period.

The site allows entry to new members only if existing members vote them as sufficiently attractive to warrant it.

The US, the UK, and Canada topped the list of excluded members.
