Day 68…and the oil still floods the Gulf!

When a little-known federal agency with just 14 investigators joined the growing list of government probes into the Deepwater Horizon disaster, it renewed cries from the Gulf of Mexico — and beyond — that no one seems to be in charge.

The Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board’s sleuthing brings the count of federal investigations to six — and that’s not counting the probes under way by a half-dozen congressional committees. Or the investigation being conducted by Robert Bea, a University of California, Berkeley, engineering professor who has assembled a 66-member team to assist the various investigative efforts.

“It’s hard to see who’s in charge. The answer is: nobody,” said Lee Hamilton, who co-chaired the 9/11 Commission’s investigation into the 2001 terrorist attacks. “The president can’t control Congress. He can’t control BP. He can’t control the states, which are doing their own investigations. All he can control is what the executive branch is doing.”

The laws and government actions are coming in so quick that most folks don’t realize what is happening.
I have never seen a time in my life that we are seeing the actions of congress throwing out the Constitution, and make rules of their own along the way….Far more so than Bush and Cheney ever went.

Is anyone reading this concerned? In my opinion….Bush was bad, now that we have Obama and the Democrats in complete control…I am seeing actions turning into laws that were unheard of a few years ago.

If the one huge volcanic eruption in Iceland recently spewed more greenhouse gases into the atmosphere than all the coal plants combined on our planet in 100 years, then how can lowly man ever change the earth’s temperature when such things are still occurring?

And the thing that makes the least amount of sense is our government via the EPA, which will charge the energy companies and all other American industries a huge ‘fee’ for emitting gases, at a time when the unemployment rate is soaring.

This man-made climate change business is just another power grab by the liberal-socialist-democrats (LSD) in this country. Wouldn’t they love having the power to regulate your home’s heating and cooling, what kind of car you drive, when you are allowed to travel, etc?
This is just one more power grab like heath care ‘reform’, tighter regulation of the financial market and monopolization of the student loan market.

The United States plans to deploy two drone aircraft along the Texas-Mexico border as part of a new effort to stem organized crime and illegal immigration, Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano said Wednesday.

The two Predator drones will be used to patrol the border and in nearby areas in the Gulf of Mexico, once Congress approves the 500 million dollars President Barack Obama has requested, Napolitano said in a Washington speech.

“These types of flights aren’t necessary everywhere,” she said in comments to the Center for Strategic and International Studies. “But this is the case in the Texas border.”

The United States currently has four drones patrolling the border with Mexico in Arizona and one in the northern border with Canada in the state of North Dakota, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

In a commercial, President Obama’s Labor Secretary Hilda Solis tells illegal immigrants that she will help them get paid a “fair” wage.

Solis insisted that it doesn’t matter if a worker is documented or undocumented they still deserve to be paid “fairly”.
