A violent tornado moved through the Birmingham, Alabama metro early this morning.
It appears to have been on the ground for a long distance.
Gov. Robert Bentley declared all 67 counties a state of emergency. So far there are 3 confirmed deaths and 100 injuries.
The Meteorologists that went to the town of Clay did confirm an EF-3 tornado struck this morning. Wind speeds from this tornado were estimated at 150 MPH.
